Megan Hinton is an accomplished designer and artist. She practices freelance design and exhibits her artwork as Megan Jackson and is currently Director (acting) of PhotoAccess.

Megan is a passionate advocate of the flourishing creative scene in Canberra and has been involved in a number of high profile projects including Design Canberra 2016, Young.Hot.Canberra and Centenary of Canberra: A Legacy of Good Design. Megan was a Mentor in the Canberra Mentorship Program 2015, an ANU School of Art Emerging Artist Support Scheme Award.

Through her freelance design and artistic practice Megan Jackson, Megan has regularly exhibited her printed works and has been commissioned for a wide variety of design projects including graphic design, furniture and textile design. Megan has also designed a range of fashion accessories and homewares which she has marketed and sold through design markets and retailers.

Megan has lectured and tutored at the Australian National University School of Art in a number of creative disciplines including core computer studies (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator), textile design and screen printing. Megan is an Accredited Professional Member of Craft ACT and NAVA Premium Plus Member. She completed Bachelor of Visual Arts (Textiles) (Honours) at the Australian National University.
